Google Play Store For Blackberry 10
With the release of the BlackBerry Passport in 2014, the Amazon App Store became officially available on all BlackBerry 10 devices, utilizing the Android Runtime that lets BlackBerry devices run Android apps.
Apr 23, 2019 I solved my issue in this way: After having setted everything.as described in the first post, I opened BlackBerry Google ID icon, then 'obtain Google ID', filled with my mail address and password, and then reopened Google Play Store.
Despite offering a substantial number of apps which BB10 previously couldn’t offer, the Amazon offering still had a major app gap. You can, however, solve this by installing the Google Play Store on your device. Here’s how you do it – but, be aware that apps that require Google Play Services won’t work.
1. Start by downloading the Google Account Manager APK onto your BlackBerry 10 device, which can be found here. In the file that you download, find the com.google.android.gsf.login APK and choose ‘install.
2. You’ll now see a ‘Google Account Manager’ file. Choose ‘open’.
3. You’ll be asked if you have a Google account. Choosing ‘existing’ and then type in all your Google account details and choose ‘ok’.
4. Once you’re logged into your Google account, you’ll need to exit the app and download the BlackBerry Google ID file. You can find this file here.
5. Once the file is downloaded, you’ll need to open up the cobalt.blackberry.androidID APK, and choose the ‘install’ option at the top right hand corner of your screen.
6. Open the BlackBerry Google ID app once it’s downloaded and choose ‘register this device’. You’ll then be taken to a ‘Register Device’ screen, where you will be asked to sign into your Google account again. Do that and click ‘check in’.
7. Now, it’s time to download the Google Play Store APK. You can find the file here. Open up the APK and choose ‘install’.
Complete all of these steps, and the Google Play Store will be installed onto your BB10 device, allowing you to download any Android app without side loading!
